Common Uses For This Medicine
1- For the treatment of DEPRESSION
2- For the treatment of DEPRESSIVE TYPE PSYCHOSIS
3- For the treatment of MANIC-DEPRESSIVE PSYCHOSIS, OTHER AND UNSPECIFIED
4- For the treatment of MAJOR DEPRESSIVE DISORDER, RECURRENT EPISODE
5- For the treatment of DEPRESSION WITH ANXIETY
It may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor
How To Use This Medicine
Use this medicine exactly as directed on the label, unless instructed differently by your doctor
* This medicine can be taken with or without food, REGARDLESS of meal times. If stomach upset occurs, take with food.
* Use this medicine for the full prescribed treatment period. DO NOT skip doses or discontinue unless directed by your doctor.
What To Do If You Miss A Dose
Take when remembered unless time for next dose. No double doses.
How To Store This Medicine
Keep in original closed container in a dark, cool, and dry place away from children. Discard unneeded medicine.
Other Side Effects
Dry mouth; Drowsiness; Dizziness; Constipation; Blurred vision; Headache; Shakiness; Anxiety; Jitteriness; Unusual tiredness or
weakness; Abnormal blood cell count; Rapid heart rate; Nervousness.
If symptoms are mild but do not go away or are bothersome, check with your doctor. IF ANY OF THE ABOVE SIDE EFFECTS IS SEVERE,
CALL YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY.
Precautions And Warnings
* There are no adequate or well-controlled safety studies in pregnant women. NOTIFY YOUR DOCTOR IF PREGNANT or intend to become
pregnant.
* This medicine may cause drowsiness, dizziness, or blurred vision. DO NOT drive or operate machinery until you become familiar
with its effects.
* AVOID concurrent use of alcohol or other CNS depressants as it may intensify the drowsiness, dizziness, or lightheadedness
effect of this medicine.
* Because of INTERACTION with other drugs, report the use of any other prescription and nonprescription medicines to your
doctor.
* This medicine may cause increased sensitivity to the sun. You should AVOID prolonged or excessive exposure to direct and/or
artificial sunlight.
